General Conditions of Online Purchase for Dacia Extended Warranty & Service Plans

Terms and conditions for the purchase process on dacia.co.uk

  1. You now have the opportunity to purchase an extended warranty or service plan for your Dacia vehicle online. Subject to the following limitations: Extended Warranty: can only be purchased within the first 12 months following vehicle registration, provided the mileage term on the manufacturer warranty has not been reached Service Plan: can only be purchased within the first 12 months following vehicle registration, provided that the vehicle has not been previously serviced
  2. Full payment, payable online by credit or debit card, is required in respect of each product at the time of purchase. For prices, please refer to the website. In purchasing an extended warranty or service plan, you understand and acknowledge that Renault UK (hereinafter referred to as “Dacia”.) will register your policy or policies on your behalf and that any work carried out under your extended warranty or service plan must be completed in an authorised Dacia Dealer.

Online purchase procedure

  1. Select the product(s) you wish to purchase. You will be asked to supply your vehicle registration number and confirm that your vehicle has not exceeded 60,000 miles (extended warranty) or been previously serviced (service plan).
  2. Once you have confirmed your product selection, you will be taken through the checkout process, where you will be required to supply the following information:
    • Promotional code, if applicable
    • Full name
    • A valid email address
    • Your postal address
    • Your payment details
    • Your billing address (if different from your postal address)
  3. Following the checkout process, you will receive an order acknowledgement email detailing the services you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from dacia.co.uk.
  4. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email detailing your purchase including the terms and conditions of cover and any exclusions.
  5. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of your policy documents unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions in "Cancellations".


  1. Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish provided that you notify us no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you receive policy documents. We are unable to cancel extended warranties or service plans if a claim has been made against the policy during the 7 day cooling off period.
  2. To cancel your policy, please contact our Customer Relations team by telephone on 0844 335 1111 (Opening hours: 9 am to 5.30 pm -Fri, from 10 am Wed and closed Bank holidays) or by sending a letter to Customer Relations, Dacia, The Rivers Office Park, Denham Way, Rickmansworth, WD3 9YS.

Personal Data Protection

  1. DACIA will not obtain data enabling you to be personally identified unless you give us this information by filling in and sending us the forms on the site. This information is confidential and kept by DACIA. No commercial use will be made of the information without prior written authorisation from DACIA or where appropriate the Dacia Dealer Network. The data you provide about yourself is essential for answering your requests for information, appointments, etc. This information is exclusively for the use of DACIA and certain of our commercial partners, our branch offices and the members of our sales network, for the purpose of surveys, analysis, sales and marketing campaigns. If you have subscribed to receive Dacia news by email, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the top of our emails or by contacting ecommerce@renault.co.uk.
  2. You have a right to access and can rectify data about yourself by contacting Dacia. If you do not wish to be contacted with marketing material, please tick the box at the bottom of each form on the site. Information Obtained Automatically but Which Cannot Be Linked to a Particular Person We may obtain information which cannot under any circumstances be linked to a particular person. This information relates to the type of internet browser that you use, your computer system and the name of the domain by which you accessed our site.

Updating the Terms and Conditions

DACIA reserves the right to modify and update access to the site as well as the terms and conditions at any time and you agree to be bound by any such variations. You must therefore refer to these pages regularly to check the terms and conditions.
